Has Covid-19 impacted the nomination processes and the outcome so far in the 2020 US presidential election?

Covid-19 has not left anyone or anything unaffected in 2020. The pandemic reached both medias and the newsletters headlines, affecting everything from the Sustainable Development Goals, to the politics around the globe.

The Covid-19 pandemic has for instance changed everything from how the campaign is conducted to how American citizens are voting. In 2016 when Donald J. Trump won the electoral votes against Hillary R. Clinton, everything was just normal with the process of nomination. So far in 2020, conventions have been cancelled, and states are forced to rapidly change how people submit their ballots. We can already see rumours that the presidential election could be postponed, as long as the pandemic continues to infect.
